PROFESSOR DISCREDITS , THEORIES. (B* CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COFYSIOHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received July 3rd, 7.10 p.m.) LONDON, July 2. Professor Keith, writing in tho journal "Nature," after an examination of the casts of the Taungs skull, says that it is preposterous to claim that it is the skull of a young anthropoid ape. At'most it represents a genus in the gorilla-chimpanzee group.
