DOMAINS BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Christchurch Domains Board was held yesterday. Present—Mr Geo. Harper (chairman), and Messrs McGregor B. Wright, W. H. Wineor, S. Orchard, C. TV. H«rvey, H. J. Beswick, J. A. Flesher, F. "W. Freeman, and A. TV. The financial statement showed the trust account to be- in credit to the extent of £lO4l 13s 7d. The lery outstanding was J23231 10s 6d. The- report of the Curator (Mr Jas. Young) stated that the planting of willows in open places in the Gardens would be etarted next week. A new set of swinging gates, given by Mr "W. H. 'Winsor, had been erected in the South Park. The report was adopted, and it was decided to thank Mr Winsor for his generosity.
