SPECIAL ORDER FOR THE OPAWA ROAD CHANNELLING LOAN FOR JB7OO. JUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution, passed at a Special Meeting oi the Heathcote County Council, held on Friday, the 26th day of June, 1925, will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at an Ordinary Meeting of the Heathcote County Council to be held on Friday, the 24th day of July, 1925, at 7.30 p.m. in the Council Office, 178 Manchester street, Christchurch: — "In pursuance of the Counties Act, 1920, Local Bodies Loans Act, IMS, Health Act, 1920, and subject to the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council and whereas the Board .of Health has . under the provision of Sections 22 and 24 of the Public Health Act, 1920, required the Heathcote County Council to construct sanitary work in the Hillsborough Riding in the Counlv of Heathcote. The* Heathcote County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order to raise by way of special loan for the purpose of the channelling of ,the Opawa road from its junction with Gadda road (otherwise known as Station road) to the Heathcote,River, in the Hillsborough Riding in the County of Heathcote the sum of £7OO (seven hundred pounds) for a period of twenty years at ft rate not exceeding six per centum per annum for interest plus two per centum per annum for sinking fund, and resolves further that the first year's interest and sinking fund and • engineering expenses be paid out of the said-loan and that the Becurity for the said loan be a special rate not exceeding one-sixth of a penny in the £ to be'struck' over the special rating area in the Riding of Hillsborough in the County of Heathcote and comprised within the following boundaries: SCHEDULE OF AREA. | Starting at the point of intersection of River Heathcote and Lyttelton - Railway line- thence a'ong River Heathcote to intersection cf Rapaki road and Hill's • road; thence along Ranald road alon<? south-west-ern boundary of Rijral Section 33902; thence in an casterlv direction to the' south-eastern corner of Rural Section 23559 to the northwestern boundary of Rural Section 766: thence in an easterly direction along Rural Section 966; 'thence northerly to the Lyttelton Rai'way line: thence along railway line in a north-westerly direction to the point of commencement in the Hillsborough Riding in the County of Heathcote.
