The Nararea, in spite of the heavy southeasterly, swell which was running on the .'coast,"made a smart trip from Wellington on Thursday night, and arrived at Lyttelton at 7.45 yesterday morning. The Cygnet is to sail this afternoon for Nelson arid Mot acta. The Kennedy should be hero to-morrow from the north. She loads on Monday for Pttxtbn direct. The Storm is due to-morrow from Timsrn, and is to sail on Monday afternoon for Wel-lington-and Wanganui. The Opua is expected to-moTrow from Timaru. She .has cement .from Tarakoho for discharge, and -rill afterwards load for Kelson. Westport. and Gwymouth. 18th with a cargo of guano for discharge at Bluff, Lyttelton, and Auckland. She is a Falmouth steamer of 4336 tons gross, and was built at West Hartlepool in 1913. According to cable advice, the Canadian Britisher soiled from Montreal at 5 p.m. on Monday with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Duncdin. She is due at Auckland on August 6th, and at AVellington about August 11th.

(PBESS XSSOCIATIOK TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, July 3. Advico received by the Miarine Department is to the effect that wreckage has been found at Titahi Bay, where mysterious lights were seen during the recent gale. Tho Tuianekai was then sent in search of tho vessel, but found no trace of her. A portion of a hatch covering marked F.V. ill, also a email boat broken in half was discovered on the beach. An officer of the Marine Department will leave early tomorrow to investigate. KUMARA PUTS IN FOR WATER. An unexpected arrival at Lyttelton yesterday was tho Shaw, Savill and Albion steamev Kumara, which anchored in the stream early in the morning, and later berthed to xake in water and to undergo minor engine repairs. The Kumara was en route from Sydney to Oamaru when she encountered very heavy weather in Cook Strait. On Wednesday afternoon she put into Picton for minor engine repairs, and sailed from that port again at 8.30 a.m. on Thursday for Oamaru. The vessel met with, further heavy weather on the run down the coast, which further delayed her, and as she was running short of fresh water the master, Captain J. W. Johnson, decided to put, into Lyttelton to replenish her tanks. The Kumara is expected to sail to-day for Oamaru, and is duo back at Lyttelton, via Timaru, next week to complete loading for .Home.
