Already the pantomime Ivaa teen at aged with sv.cc-esa, Unlimited Charities recently concluding a season in Timaru, when two evening performances and a, matinee wero instrumental in securing £3OO for the orphanages of .South Canterbury. Crowded houses greeted tb/s pantomime, the. audiences being extremely enthusiastic. In every respect "Tho Sleeping Beauty" is a, mucli moro ambitions production than the other two successful ventures of the Society, "Bluebell in Fairyland" and "Jack and the Beanstalk." No fewer than ]OO performers are in the cast. Miss Xgaio Marsh again, is the producer, Mias Madeline Yyner is the ballet mistress, and Miss Gwen K. M,crrett is the author. The musical director is Mr Arthur Gordon.
