VERDICT OP SUICIDE. (by caule-jotss association—copraWHT.) (AUSTKAMAN AKD Jf.J!. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, July 1. At tho inquest concerning the deaths of Thomas Puddles and Edward Barsou, in the Shorcditch public library, the jury foundi that Puddles committed suicide by taking poison while of unsound Wind and that Sarson died from. a. gunshot wound in some manner unknown. Mrs Sarson created a scene by saying she could not understand why Puddles was allowed to have *i.s nflss in a bublic building. The Coroner replied: That is a .matter for tho police. ITho bodies of Thomas Duddles, aged GO', the caretaker, and Edward bar son, aaed 37, his assistant, were found. m tho Shoreditch Library on Jiuie/Jtn. The former was poisoned, and barson: was shot in the head. Chalked on «■ bench in Puddles's handwriting was the message: "Had a. temolo accident. 1 have shot Sarson. lam going mac Duddles left a note stating that he and Sarson were cleaning somo rifles, ot which Duddles (an ex-bluejacket) had a collection, when fine exploded. 1 lietwo deceased were apparently ineiidly, but it was thought Puddles might hayc harboured jealousy against Sarson, who. was shortly to have succeeded hun.J
