Tho British Umpire Service League passed a resolution to make a further appeal to the British Government to correct tho injustice to British pensioners whoso pensions are payable in India and who desire them to be payable in rupee currency instead of sterling. A resolution by the Canadian delegates commended tho principle of the conscription, in the. event of war, "of the properties equally with the persons, lives and liberties of all citizens." On the motion of Captain "Walker (Irish Free State) it was referred back to the constituent bodies of the League to he presented for discussion at the next confereuco.

A recommendation that November 11th be get aside as Remembrance Day throughout the Empire except in Dominions) where other arrangements have been made, was passed. Earl Haig paid a tribute- to the overseas sections of the Empire which contributed generously to relief work in Britain through the Poppy Fund.
