BANKS PENINSULA RABBIT BOARD.
.— —♦ —— ■ The monthly meeting of ike Bunks Peninsula Rabbit Board was hold on Wednesday. Present: Messrs H. A. Nutt (chairman), H. A. Gray, Wm. Menzies, and C. J. Riciitield. Messrs F. B. H. Gardiner and T. E. Feather telephoned apologies. Mr Henderson, stock inspector, also sent an apology. . Corrospondencc was read from Mrs jf.issey thanking the Board for its message of sympathy. . , .. Mr Milner reported on tho progress of the addition to the fence. . . Notice was given to readjust the districts allotted to the inspectors. It was agreed to pay half the annual cliargn of the lelephono into Inspector lioskins's residence. , . Mr A. E. Williams waited upon tho board concerning the chargo made for the rabbiter which the chairman promised should be looked into. In nearly every instance tho owner or his appointee had accompanied the rahbiter, which had not,been done in Mr Willinms's case and his actions had always proved satisfactory. Mr Jticlvflcld was accorded a hearty -vote of thanks for the work ho had put m on Mr Williams's proporty. Notico was given to movo at next meeting that a rate of.l-.lßd be struck for the current year, the incrcaso being necessary on account of the addition to the fence and the cost of holding an election. The reports of tho inspectors and raboiter were considered very satisfactory.
