AMPHIBIAN PASSENGER FLIGHT (bi cable— pbess assocutios—copnuaarr.) (beutes's telegsaxsO LONDON, June 30. "What is claimed to be the first Lon» don to Paris flight by an amphibian passenger-airplane was carried out this morning when a Schoeck airplane, equipped with a 300 horse-power His-pano-Suizza engine, taking off from the Seine in Paris, landed in .the Thames at Hammersmith, after which it proceeded to Croydon airdrome. The trip was carried out by tha French Air-Union as an experiment. It is estimated that on the round trip it will save an hour's time, also tho cost of conveying passengers l>c« tween London and Croydon.
