LICENSED VICTUALLERS' ASSOCIATION.
Tho annual meeting of the North Canterbury Licensed Victuallers' Association was held on Monday. About TOO licensees from all parts of the province attended. MiArthur Rose (president) was in the chair. The report and balance-sheet as presented were adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr Arthur Rose (re-elected) ; vicepresident, Mr C. H. Piper; hon treasurer, Mr F M. Drewitt; committee, Messrs r. A. Oloudesley, W. M. Nidd, R. Nash J. P. Gouldins, .T. M. Coffey, W. H. Ward, R. Brvan, W. H. S. Deal; Lyttelton representative Mr E. >T. Costello; Akaroa representative Mr W M. Buddie; Hurunui representative' Mr J. J. Hendron: Ellesmere representative, 'Mv H. A. Nickolls; Kaiapoi representative, Mr K. Cudby; representatives to Provincial Council, Messrs A. Rose, C. H. Piper, and S. M. Drewitt.
