An ordinary meeting of the Canterbury Philosophical Institute will he held at Canterbury College to-night'. A Christian Science testimony meeting will be held in Jollicoe Hall to-night. A h*re drive wil; bo hold at Hirch Hill on July 9th. Owinff to tho had condition of the ground, the Christchurch Hunt's point-to-point steeplechase, -which was to havo been held on Saturday next, has, been posbpoued. A meeting of the supporters of the Keform Party in tlio Sj>riDgston district will be held in the Springston Hall on Saturdav evening. The Biackonfield Hunt Meet, advertised for to-day, has been postponed to Saturday, at 11 a.m.
