The normal day will include such horrors as radio alarm-clocks, synthetic felt one-piece suits, a hat which will always he worn because men will be hairless, and loud-speakers giving the news at the breakfast table, with television glimpses of events. Human beings will always, travel in closed motor-cars ajid shopping will be made- effortless by means of moving pavements and stairways. Communications will be by personal radio, with a metal aerial in the headgear, involving talking through the hat.

Food will be prepared in communal kitchens.
