Dr. Nansen, whom tho Soviet consulted, has now submitted a plan, drafted in collaboration with Captain Bruhns, a German aeronaut, who, it i s expected, will shortly join Dr. Nanson at Moscow for tho purpose of detailed explanations. The SoViet lias also appointed a Commission to examine proposals for establishing regular airship communication between Europe and Asia, via, Russia's iniDsfc northern territories. (AUSTRALIAN AXD X.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) STOCKHOLM.. Juno 29. Tho Swedish explorer Dr. Svcn Hedin, in an interview, said ho had discussed with Captain Eckener last March the latter's plan to fly a Zeppelin to tho North Pole. Sven Hedin was willing to command tho expedition only if Eckener piloted tho airship. Ho is of tho opinion that this would guarantee the success of tho expedition.
