Michalacopoulis refused to resign until Admiral Hadjikyriakos shelled the Presidential Palace. Aeroplanes dropped a proclamation, by M. Pangalc-s, declaring that the ..revolution was successful throughout the country. M. Pangaloa has definitely assumed the Premiership. He hopes to form a Cabinet, in which he will also be Minister of War. The public is strangely unmoved by the dramatic events of the day, which have moved with astonishing rapidity and secrecy. M. Pangalos issued a manifesto stating that he was merely carrying out the wishes of the people who had demanded the redemption and purification of Greece. The situation is quite .calm.
