PAGEANT AT HEN DON. (by cable—rnßss association—coriaiwrt) (RKCTXR'S TKLSGRUiS.) (Received Juno 28th, 11.35 pjn.) LONDON, June £7. A hundred thousand witnessed th© nir pageant at Hcndon. In the presence of their Majesties the King and Quocn, soveral now types of machines, widely varying in horsepower, demon* stratcd thoir uses as fast scouts, troop carriers, huge bombers, and aerial ambulances. They performed innumerable manoeuvres, including looping and spiral noso-diving to within a few feet ot the ground. The use of wireless between the machines while in the air was demonstrated. Aerial drill by four tquadrons of thirty-six machines was performed.
THE KING OPERATES WIRELESS. DIRECTS AERIAL MANOEUVRES. (Received June 28th. 11.5 p.m.) LONDON, June 28. A feature of the Hendon pageant was that King GeorßO tested the wonders of wireless telephony. He ordered the aeroplane squadron to alter its coarse nftcen points outwards. Tho message was broadcast, so that it was heard in all enclosures, and the pilots timed kstantly.
