RECHABITE COUNCIL.

TLe monthly' meeting -of the Fiechabiic Provincial Council,' held on Friday at the ■ Y.M.C.A., was presided over by the P.C.R., Bro. jL'. 11. Bascand. Thore were also present Sister Hastings, ,Br°3. Dean, , Itobsori, A. .Martin, Saunders (2), Tooiell, Purdons, Kersey.'and' A.' D. Hassall, representing the Christchr.rch,. St. Albanii,' Linwood, Timar'u, Phiiipson, ' Addington, and "Woolston Tents. The resignation of Bro. A. Martin as Provincial Superintendent of Juvenile Tents was accepted with regret, and a hea.rty vote, of thanks .accorded hirn. for ,Ju6 past services. Subject to suitable arrangements <being mado, it was decided to visit the Ashbmton Tent' en the'occasion of its quarterly meeting It was resolved to pay an official visit to the Ark of Eefnge Tent. Much satisfaction was expressed at the accession of members by the- Richmond Tent, the improved position of. the Aldington Tent, and the successful social carried out 'under the .auspices of the Woolston Tent. The night of •inseting vras changed from Friday to''Wednesday. • . •
