NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
A meeting of Radical Liberals will be held on Wednesday night, at 7.30, in the Win.ton street Hall. The Railway Department advises that the 11.7 a.m. "Waipara-Paraassus, and 1.25 p.m. Parnassus-'Waipara trains, will not run on Fridays until further advised. A rally will be held in connexion with the Anglican Girls' Bible Class Union in St. John's Schoolroom to-morrow night. A general meeting of the League of Nations Union will be hid in the Y.M.C.A. to-morrow night. A meeting of. Reform electors in the Rllesmere electorate will be held in tha Springston Hall to-night. The duck shooting season closes to-morrow. Train time-table alterations on the Cheviot line are advertised in this issue. The annual meeting of residents of Rotherham for the purpose of electing a committee for the hall will be held on Saturday evening.
