Armstrong, was defeated at tho polls in the general election in Nova Scotia by tho Conservative leader, E. N. Rhodes* Tho election has ended tho Liberals' rule of the province. The indications are that the Conservatives liavo won 40 and the Liberals three , seats in a House of 43 members. The Premier was defeated in hi& own riding of Shelbourae.
