DEATH IN DENTIST'S CHAIR.

(rEESS ASSOCIATION TELEGEAIT.) WELLINGTON, June 26. An inquest was held to-day on Adam James Glasgow, a law clerk, who collppsed and died in a dentist's chair on Monday, during the course of a dental operation. The medical evidence showed that Glasgow had acute bronchitis and inflammation of the lungs. His condition would not be.apparent to a dentist. The Coroner said that the occurrence was a most unfortunate one. Glasgow was not aware of his condition. The dentist had taken all reasonable precautions to ascertain whether the man was in a fit state for the operation. He found that Glasgow died from the effects of gas administered for a den- ' tal operation while suffering from acute I bronchitis and inflammation of the lunpp.
