Admiral Coontjs to-day issued the first formal outline of tho manner of procedure in the fleet en route to Australia, and New Zealand. The orders state that during tho. cruise tho Commander-in-Chief lexpecta to see great strides made in training along all lines. There will be tactical. training of each-unit, combined with gunnery training as far as practicable. This matter must bo considered as development. It is the Coaunandcr-in-Chief's desire that the. attention of unit commanders should ho gnrea to tho development of visual signals, particularly to the transmission and reception of codo groups by flashing light. When information is received at Pago Pago regarding tho Australian entertainment programmes, efforts will bo made to distribute as much as poaI sible of this data among tho Fleet par> j sonnc-l. . •.
