Light-weight—G. Wallace (Temuka), 93t 131b. bee* Woods (Wnimate), 103t. Final: A. Wallace beat G. Mills (Timaru) lOst. Welter-weight—E. Collings (Timaru), 10st 3lb, beat D. Stowart (Temuka), lost 41b. Stewart was disqualified for throwing his opponent. Ligbt-hcavy-weiaiht—C. Norton (Temuka), ICtat 131b. beat E. Naismith (Temuka), list 131b. Final: C. Norton beat T. McDowell (Timaru), list 4lb. Heavy-weight—T. Manning (Temuka), 13st, teat A. D. Mcßae (Timani), 12st lllb. Parker and McDonald Dra-w. The contest between Eddie Parker and Laehie McDonald for the middle-weight championship of Now- Zealand and a purse of £2OO resulted in a draw after 15 rounds of good, clean, and clever boxing, on both side-. Jhe decision was quite a popular one.
