SECONDARY SCHOOL CLOTHING.
TO TEE EDITOE OT "TUB PW!3S." S:r.—ls it- not time a halt was called at our secondary schools in the matter cf compelling pupils to spend money on articles of clothing? Several shillings have to be invested in a hat-band, and then a hat of the exact shade, or shape, or both, as iaiddown by regulation, must bo bought. Other articles of adornment must, be procured to suit the season, or v.oc betide! A "Heresy Hunt among Hats" is.now on at one school. It is a good school, doing; excel.ent work, but Its drapery and millinery ideas are tedious,—Yours, etc., STONE-BROKE. June, 25th, 1925.
