PATH OF ROSE PETALS.
CHILDREN GREET THE PRINCE. (sx cable—phess association—copibight.) (beuter's telegrams.) CAPE TOWN, June 24. The Prince of Wales, at Johannesburg, witnessed a spectacular procession representing the trades and industries of the Rand. He also attended a demonstration by 35,000 children, who greeted him singing "Edward is our darling." The route taken by the Prince was strewn with rose petals by the children for a quarter of a mile.
