It is learned that the new issue of Ordinary Shares by The New Zealand Guarantee Comoration, Ltd., is meeting with keen> demand from the investing public. The longest-distance fast ail-sleeping car train in the world operates on the Canadian Pacific Railway. Every day during the. summer season four TransCanada Limited trains move over Canadian Pacific tracks in each direction, carrying about 250,000 trans-contin-ental travellers, and travel 748,748 miles, about three times the distance from the earth to the moon. Including engine stops, the Trans-Canada is scheduled for only 2G stops on the whole trans-continental run. Fourteen train crews are required for the full run. of each train, consisting of engineer, fireman, two brakemen and a conductor, making a total of 84 men per train, besides 48 sleeping and dining-car employees per "train, or about 300 of the latter for the entire
