THE ROTORUA TRAGEDY.
(PBISS ASSOCIATION TELEOHAM.) ' ' EOTORUA, Juno 21. The inquest touching the deaths of Carl 01se:i, aged .39, and Mary Eileen Moors, aged 14, of Horotiu, Hamilton, who were found dead from gunshot wound at Lake Ro Toiua on May 4th, was continued to-daj\ ■ Evidence was given that the , girl Moors .went to. live with an aunt in Hastings in April. 01 sen, who lived with the girl's parents, left Horotiu by ear on May Ist. Two days later advice was received that the girl had left her aunt's home. Olson, had been worrying over a motor-car accident which occurred at Horotiu on April Ist, when two people in the car dyiven by him were killed. On May 4th a. workman assisted deceased to extricate their car on the beach on Lskc 110 Toma. A few minutes later shots were heard, and both were found dead near the car. Olseu' was shot in the mouth, and Moors in the breast. A shortened shotgun was found in hands. The jury returned a verdict that the girl Moors was shot by Olsen, who then shot himself.
