A report having been made that certain European police officers in Bombay connived at running a gambling den, tho Commissioner of Police at Bombay dismissed Superintendent Fuller, Inspector Chapman, and a Mohammedan deputy-inspector. The European officers had both a record of long .service. Tho cato has created quite a sensation.
