TIMARU. Social and Personal. Miss Hart (Dunedin) is the guest of Mrs Tim-aril Rhodes (Hadlow). Miss Picbman (Elizabeth street) has returned from a, visit to Ashburton. Mr and Mrs Gladstone Robinson (Gleniti) liaTO returned from Christchurch. Miss Cordner who was with Mrs F. C. May, Elizabeth street, is visiting Dunedin. Mrs George Rhodes and Miss Shoua Rhodes (Feudalton), who have been spending a week in Timaru, left yer« terday for Christchurch. Mr and Mrs Wills, who have been for some time with Mr and Mrs W. Hamilton (Irishman's Creek), left Timaru yesterday for England. The Weather. On Monday nigut and all day yesterday, a. light nor'-wester blew in South Canterbury. The temperature was higher than it has been for some time past, and a considerable amount of snow disappeared from the foothills. Conditions cut of doors wcro very pleasant.
