MILKING MACHINES.

Interesting developments will shortly ..take place in .connexion with milking maphines (states the,Dunedin "Star'). ;A number of new. makes of machines ;have recently been put on the market, and to the average layman who inspected the various plants at the recent 'Winter Show, these mechanical milkers are very much alike.,. Many milking'machine owners think so, too; so ■much so that the proprietors of several 'patent rights 'have applied to the Supreme Court- for an injunction restraining these new machines from being put on the market. "Writs are being served 'on the makers of these nen- machines, and one case. ..which will be treated as a test case, is set down for. hearing at an early sitting of the Supreme . Court at Auckland. • It -is alleged that parts of several of the latest machines put on the market' infringe patent rights. If the application for an injunction in successful it will mean that these riow machines can only 1)» put on the market on conditions that ivust first be ar>w>*oved by the owners of the patent rights.
