ENGLISH DELEGATES TO TOUR NORTH ISLAND. (rUESS ASSOCIATION TJCLEGBIU.) . DXJNEDIN, Juno 22. The secretary of the- Empire Press Union has cabled from London to say that the Arrangements Committee has had under consideration the alternative itineraries subruited to it for the New Zealand (visit of the delegates to the Australian conference. One of theso itineraries provided for a visit to both the North and South Islands, but as. only 11 days could be allowed the -,vholo Dominion, tho committeo in England has very reluctantly come to tho conclusion that the visit must be confined to tho North. Island. There vrsa a division of opinion among the members of tha committeo of the New Zealand Dranch of the Union as to the feasibility of a visit to the South Island in the short timo available, .arid the matter -was referred to tho Council of the Union in England for its decision.
