SANDERS CUP.

NEXT CONTEST IN FEBRUARY.

(PHISS ASSOCIATION TKLIGBAM.)' . . DUNEDIN, Juno 22. At a meeting of the Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Association to-night, it was decided that tho first race in the ' Sanders Cup, 1926 contest be e&iled on Otago harbour on ■ Friday, February 19th. 'The president said that tho tides -would be moat suitable at that time of tho year and. the first race would bo eailed practically on high water in the morning. The second race woul'd be . sailed tho following day and tho crews would thus be given a chance to rest before the third race on Monday. Considerable discussion followed on ihe question of sailing all the races in full view of the wharves, and probably a recommendation will bo made to the Dominion Counci ' hat this be given effect to. It was pointed out if tho races start ana finish at the boa* harbour, the retaining wall would have to be flagged bo rb to prevont tho competing crews :trom fouling or sailing over the wall.
