MODEL FARM SOLD.
PRICE IN EXCESS OF £75,000.

The model dairy farm at Tamak), owned by John Court, Ltd., has been sold to a syndicate, which proposes to subdivide the property into quarter-acre sections, for sale as residential sites. It is understood the farm changed hands at. a price somewhat ,in. excess of £75,000, or over £340 an acre. The property, which comprises 220 acres, was acquired about three years ago by Messrs Court at £124 an acre, and was developed as a model farm. Plant and buildings of the most modern type were erected on the land, and a herd of pedigreo Friesian cows was in stalled. The farm was used by lh-i firm for the supply of-the dairy produce required at the tea rooms in. its Queen street premises. It is understood the stock will be sold by auction towards the end of tho year, but under the conditions of sale possession of the property will, not be given to the purchasers until next March.
