According to meteorologists the cyeloiio is of an extensive naturo and is: ono .of the worst experienced for vears. Yesterday it centred at Rockhaiiipton and was moving south. Heavy downpours have already been experienced in Sydney and along tho coast. Flood warnings have been issued. Coastal shipping is affected. The Louis Theriault put into Sydney for shelter. BRISBANE, Jun6 20. Torrential rain was accompanied by wind, which at times reached cyclonic force, causing considerable damage in Southern Queensland. Many houses were unroofed. Creeks and rivers are rising and low-lying land is inundated. SERIOUS FLOODS FEARED, (Receive Juno 2lst, 5.3 pith.) SYDNEY, June 21.. The whole State iB being swept by torrential rain. Flood warning have been issued in North Cpast towns, where serious damage i 9 expected. At Brisbane residents have been warned to prepare for a flood. Already heavy damage has been done.
The whole New South Wales coast is being swept by t-errifio seas and. all small shipping is sheltering. The storm has caused serious telegraphic and cable delay.

SYDNEY, June 21
Heavy, continuous rain and cyclonic winds continued during the week-end over the north and" south coasts and southern tablelands, , with the result that the whole countrysido is flooded. Canberra, Braidwood, and the wholo catchment area are submerged. Telegraphic communication with, all southern towns is seriously interrupted, and the railway lines aro under water. Police with flood boats have been dispatched to Forbes, where apparently the Lachlan is flooded. There is ; no news from the north coast, but tbe gale's severity has abated, and the cyclone' is moving south. Shipping circles state that the galo was tlio heavlost for many years. The rnril man at Queanbeyan is missing. Apparently he has been drowned in the flood waters.
