Tho second spall opened with a sharp attack by 'Varsity, and Ford pi|jt in a splendid solo effort and opened the score. Sydenham S3nt play back, but Looney cleared. Bearne and Holland put Sydenham on the offensive, and a pass to Pragnell gave tha latter an opsning, which Mackie saved. Holland secured from a line-out and passed to Sherriffs, whose 'shot was- stopped by. Mackie. Sydenham., kept up the pressure, but Mackie again proved safe, conceding a corner which was cleared, and 'Varsity went down headed by Holland and K'lyvett and Cnmeron added to the Score. 'Varsity gained the upper hand and Ford secured and tricked the Svdenham goalkeeper and scored easily. The pnnife ended shortly, after. Final scoro: 'Varsity 3, Sydenham -0. Beferee, Sir H. Technical v. St. Albans. St. Albans played one man short and were defeated by Technical by three goals to one. Technical opened tho attack and Gracio sent Teaguo away with a hard shot, the latter finding the net in the second attempt. After an finsucccßsfitl "attack by Technical, St. Albans broke away only to bo stopped by Orraffon. Gracie got' well away for Technical, and scored the second goal %Vith a clever run. St. Albans put in a 6trong run, Small passing to Hale, who found the net shortly before half-time. Tho first spell ended with the score: Technical 2, St. Albans 1. The second half opened with Technical on tho offensive, and a smart centre by Scott enabled Teague to net a goal. St. Albans made a sustained attack, but tho Technical defence was , safe. Soper cleared a strong Technical attack, and from a bully in Technical's end, St. Albans made several unsuccessful attempts, securing three penalty corners .without result. Selwyn A v. Selwyn B. The B's" had the better of -tho opening l play, HacDonald followed in and narrowly missed, scoring. 'B. Hore put in a. solo effort for the B team, but the ball west behind.
