Mr Hewlett's publicspiritedness was shown by. his presence and by .the trouble he had gone to in getting together such a fine programme. , At the conclusion of the concert, which was greatly e-njoyed. & hea,rty vote of thanks was accorded Mr Hewlett by acclamation.,
