COUNTY COUNOILB, WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL. "VTOTICE is hereby given that at a Special -1-* Meeting of the Waimairi County Council held on the 11th day of May, 1925, tho following resolution was passed, and will be submitted- for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to bo held on July 13th, 1925, at 1 p.m. Resolution to raise a Repayment Loan under Section 16 of the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913." "Whereas the sum of one thousand six hundred pounds (£1600), being part of a Loan of three thousand six hundred pounds (£8600) borrowed by tho "Waimairi County Council for the purpose of kerbing and channelling in the Hillin or ten Special Loan Area, in the Middleton Riding of the Waimairi County, is due and pavabla on the Ist day of July, 1923, AND WHEREAS the accumulated Sinking Fund is insufficient to repay the said Loan, the sum of one thousand six hundred pound® (£1600) is required for that purpose. NOW THEREFORE the Waimairi County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by 1 lie 'Local Bodie3 Loans Act, 1913,' hereby resolves by way of SPECIAL ORDER:— FIRST —To borrow the said sum of one thousand six hundred pounds (£1600) for the purpose of paying off the said portion of the said Loan. SECOND —That the said sum of one thousand six hundred pounds (£1600) shall be repayable on the Ist day of July, 1930, or such other earlier date as may be determined by the Council. THIRD—That for the purpose of providing Interest, Sinking Fund, and other charges on tho said Loan of one thousand six hundred pounds (£1600), the said Council _ hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of three farthings' of a penny in the £ on the rateable value (being Capital Value) of all the rateable property in the Hillmorten Special Loan Area in the County of Waimairi, as defined in the schedule hereunder, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring Rate during the currency of sucK Loan, and be payable half-yearly on the Ist day of January, and the Ist day of July in each year during the currency of such ' Loan, or. until the loan is fully paid off."
