A report frcm tho Public Works Committee tabled in the House of Representatives provides for the establishment of an air baeo at Richmond (NewSouth Wales) for the defence «f Sydney.
The scheme provides for fighting and bomhing squadrons and will bo completed in three years at a cost of £177,400.
Tho base will be immune from naval bombardment.
