After being marooned three months on Nassau, a lonely island in the Pacific, castaways from the auxiliary schooner Samoa, owned by Burns, Philp and Co., Ltd., woro discovered by the American yacht Goodwill, whose owner wirolcssod the news to Apia. It is reported that tho Samoa is a total wreck, but all tho passengers and crew are safe.
Tho Lady Roberts has sailed from Apia to rescue tho castaways. [Tho Samoa was built at Whangaroa in 1902.]
