Finemore, formorlv managing director of Butters (X.Z.), Limited, who leaves on Monday for an extended business tour of the United States, England and the Continent. Mr H. F. Stevens presided. During tho areaing speeches were made by the chairman (Mr H. F. Stevens) and Messrs W. Baxter, X. F. Wostwood, I>. Haie. S. Jacobs, i! -Sutton, Crosbie, ana L. E. Strnchan. each of whom referred to tho esteem in which Mr Finootore was held in the business community, not only in Cliristchurch, but throughout tho Dominion. On behilf of u» business community, and more especially the members of the chemists* and aerated water industries. Mr Fincoore was presented by the chairman with a substantial token of the esteem in which ho is hold throughout New Zealand. Mr Finomore suitably replied.
