WELLINGTON, June 19

A cablegram published yesterday stated that Mr Allan Granger, Chief Inspector of Weights and Measures, of Birmingham, is coming to New Zealand to assist in the organisation of the weights and measures service The visit of Mr Granger follows a request made to the British Board of Trade by the Secretary of Labour (Mr F. W. Ilowloy) that an experienced officer might be given leave of absence to come to Now Zealand to advise whether the Dominion's methods in regard to weights and measures aro up to date.
