HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS will be issued to Asliburton from Cliristchurch, inru, Springburn and intermediate stais on direct route on 26th and 27th June, trains arriving Asliburton up to 11.0 i., available for return up to 29th June. Excursion tickets will not be available by 8.50 a.m. express train from Cliristchurch and 5.43 p.m. express train from Asliburton on 26th and 27th June. CHRISTCHURCH-ASHBURTON —On 26th and 27th June, special train taking passengers from Christchurch. Rolleston and Rakaia only, stopping nt Asbburton Saleyards Siding to set down passengers, leaves Cliristchurch at 9.20 a.m., Rakaia 10.26. and arrives Ashburton 11.0 a.m. Return train, picking up at Saleyards Siding, leaves Ashburton 3.55 p.m.. Saleyards Siding 4.25 p.m. This train takes passengers for Rakaia, Rolleston and Christchurch only. •' Passengers from intermediate stations must travel bv the ordinary 7.25 a.m. Christchureh\shburton train and return by the ordinary train (delared) leaving Ashburton 4.25 p.m. On 26th June, special train conveying racehorses leaves C'hristchurch for Ashburton 6.30 a.m., returning from Ashburton 6.0 p.m. on °7th' CHRISTCHURCH-SPRINGFIF.LD. On 26th and 27th June usual 7.50 a.m. train from Springfield will connect at Rolleston with the 9.20 a.m. Christchurch-Ashburton special. „ The usual 4.15 p.m. train to Springfield leaves Cliristchurch 4.40 p.m., Rolleston 5.36 (connecting with the 3.55 p.m. special from Ashburton), Darfield fi.2B p.m. WHITE CLIFFS BRANCH.—On 26th ani 27th June usual 6.2 p.m. train to White Cliffs leaves Darfield 6.30 p.m. If the races are postponed the special trains will NOT run.
