Grainger (chainnanvoff tife Woodville County Council), and others. At the official afternoon tea a number or toasts were honoured. A new era in tho history of the district was ushered in at 6 o'clock, when the Major switched on tho light, flooding tho town with brilliant coloured lights the "lamination scheme being splendid. Tho Mayor was presented with an "»scribed switch as a memento. The band plaint in the evening, and the town was illuminated. . :
