DISTRICT HIGHWAYS.
MEETING OF COUNCIL 13. ESTIMATES APPROVED. A meeting of the District Highways Council No. 13 was held yesterday. Present—Mr F. Langbein (chairman), and Messrs James Boyd (Kaikoura County), M. Bethell (Amuri), N. D. Campbell (Waipara), and T. Stevenson (Cheviot). An apology was received for the non-attendance of Mr E. A. Weld (Awaterc). The following estimates for the year commencing on April Ist, 1925, were recommended for approval:—
