BOWLING.

EDGEWIRE CLUB. Tho annual meeting of the Edgeware Bowling Club was held on Wednesday. The president (Mr H. A. Jaiden) occupied' the chair. There was an attendance of thirtyeight members. In moving the adoption of tho report and balance-sheet, the president congratulated the club upon the excellence- of its financial position, having a credit balance of £3o' 5b 7d after paying off the'liability of £67 10s upon tho billiard table, which was now entirely freo of debt. The assets of the club stood at £069, alter allowing for depreciation. It was resolved to make the following recommendations to the annual meeting of tho club, to be held on Tuesday, June 30th:— President, Mr H. A. Jarden; vice-president, Mr E. Grant; secretary, Mr J. B. Borth•wick; treasurer, Mr W. J. Ashby; green superintendent, Mr P. Matsc-n; auditor, Mr S. Perrin; delegate to the Centre, Mr J. D. Colville. On tho motion of M' Bennett, seconded by Mr Grant, it was, resolved that the club was* in favour of one Centre competition of three-rink teams between clubs during the 1925-26 bowling season. It was further resolved- "That, except in the case of a limit player, a substitute in all club championship games must be on a higher handicap than the player whose place ho is to For the ensuing season thi following committees were appointed:—Selection Committee Messrs Jarden, Ashby, Bbrthwick; General Committee, Messrs Keen, Pearce, Price Jackman, J. D. Colville, Baker, Stewart, Hardie, Bennett and the executive officers (ex officio). Tho president presented the trophies to tho prizewinners, who were as follows: Champion rinks, J. O. Norrie. G. If. Lucas, A AV Price, J. Herd (a): champion pairs, VT. Pearce and J. D. Colville (s); champion singles, J. Herd.
