UNION AIR ROUTE CLOSED.
CAPE TOWN, June 15. After three months' experiment the Union Air Mail Service has been discontinued on the ground that it is unremuneratiye. Tho last flight from Cape Town to Durban is to be made to-day. From a flying point of view the service has been a complete success. It attained 100 per cent, efficiency, being well up to time ou every occasion, but support, both from Great Britain and the Union Government, was inadequate.
