This makes the tread wear, unevenly'and quickly. 2.—Gives 22% More Road Contact The new flat Tread with its flat contour gives 22% greater area of road contact. Because of this better load distribution there is much less tread distortion and tread -movement — two factors which add to early. tread wear in round tread Balloon Tyres. 3.—Better Non-Skid Protection because the flexible outer row of tread Mods* is in full contact with the road. > 4.—Easier Steering With the New Flat Tread* REAL BALLOON CUSHIONING.
