Vince, J. Winchester, E. A. WasKobuine, and. H. C. Washbourne. . In a ewqep, .first .miss out, the money was divided after the second round, owing totalling light, by F. G. Frarhpton, L. C. Lemon, J. Winchester, E. Arnst , and -fc. Graham. There were 13 competitors. Afternoon tea was supplied by the Ellesmere Club. ,Mr L.. Ebert. was referee, Mr D. McGregor handicappcr arid Mr W. C. Sbilton scorer. ~,',, i The annual duck dinner, which' took place in the Lakeside Hall at night, was a most successful function. Mr E. <Bowell, past president, presided owing to the. president (Mr W. R. Donald) being indisposed. Ihe Christchurch, Springston and Melhven Clubs were represented. Many toasts were honoured and a number of musical items were given. Dr. W. H. Simpson-and Messrs.E. Hammond; L. A. Shand, A. N. Turner, R. Amst, W. J. Cooksley (Methven), T. a. Harrison' and others congratulated the club lupoh the.'success of its unigue annual function. - The'function concluded, with the Rational Anthem. ,
