"VTOTICE is hereby given tlAt at a Special - 1 -' Meeting of the Waimairi County Council held on the 11th day of May, 1925, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on July 13th, 1925, at 1 p.m. Resolution to raise a Repayment Loan under Section 16 of lie "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1013." "Whereas the sum of one thousand two hundred pounds (£1200) being part of a Loan of three thousand six hundred pounds (£3600) borrowed by the Waimairi County Council for the purpose of kerbing and channelling in the Hillmorten Snecial Loan Area, in the Middleton Riding of the "Waimairi County, is due and pavable on the Ist day of July, 1923, AND WHEREAS ihe accumulated Sinking Fund is insufficient to repay the said Loan, the sum of one thousand two hundred pounds (£1200) is required for that purpose. NOW THEREFORE the Waimairi County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the 'Local' Bodies Loans Act, 1913/ hereby resolves by way of SPECIAL ORDER:— FIRST—To borrow the said sum of one thowsmd two hundred pounds (£1*200) for the purpose of paying off the said portion of the said Loan. SECOND—That the said sum of one thousand two hundred pounds (£l2ou) shall be repayable en the Ist day of July, 1930, or such other earlier'date as" may be determined by the Council. THIRD—That for the purpose of providing Interest, Sinking Fund, and other charges on the eaid Loan of one thousand two hundred pounds (£1200), the said Council _ hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of three farthings of a penny in the £ on the rateable value (being Capital Value) of all the rateable property in the Hillmorien Special Loan Area in the County of Waimairi, as defined in - the schedule hereunder, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring Rate during the currency of such Loan, and be payable half-yearly on the Ist day of January, and the Ist day of July in each year during the currency of such Loan, or until the loan is fully paid- off."
