SEFTON NOTES.
"The Tuahiwi Rugby team played Kowai at Sefton on Saturday under unfavourable weather conditions. The game resulted in Tuahiwi winning by 15 points to nil. The following were responsible for the scores: Allan Peeti 2; F. Solomdn, 2; and J. Flutey, 1. On Friday evening in the rink hall .the- Sefton Cricket Club held a social and dance. The club colours—black and white—were arranged in a very effective streamer . design over . the musicians' stage and greenery around the walls completed a pleasing decoration scheme. The Sefton Jazz Orchestra supplied the music. Mrs A McNally and Mr A. Withers played "extras. During the evening Mr A J T Withers handed to Mr L. Hales captain of the Sefton Cricket Club,.' the junior cup. Mr Hales suitably responded. Jiessrs E. ,Miller and M. Fletcher acted as M.C. s. Amongst those prescntiverellr and Mrs C.
