DOG TRIALS.
, -* MAYFIELD COLLIE CLUB. The Mayfield dog trials were held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, at Surrey Hills. The' yreathcr on Monday and Tuesday was very favourable, and the events wera witnessed fey a, goodly number' of enthusiasts and experienced muaterers. The weather was somewhat inclement on Wednesday, yet it did not deter a, big crowd from gathering , on the ground. The judge, Mr G. Evans, of Geraldine, was well satisfied with work done. Mr J. Cameron, of Anama., was a capable secretary. Results: L(?NG PULL. Open. G. Keefe's Spring, 33 points .. .. 1 B. Mcintosh's Sharp, 29 points .. 2. E. 'McLellan'a Moss, 28 points .. 3 "W.
