The Wootton i« to commence loading' today for Wellington, and sails on Monday. I The schooner Zita is to be dispatched' early next week with general cargo for Waitnta. The Gale is now due to-morrow from Timaru, and is to sail on Monday for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Cygnet is due back to-morrow, and is to aail oh Monday night for Kaikoura, Motueka, and Nelson. The Calm has been delayed at Wellington by heavy rain, and iB now expected to-mor-row. She is to sail on Monday for Bluff, Dunedin, and Timaru. The Storm lias also been delayed at Wellington, and is to leave tneVe to-day for Dunedin direct. She is due here on Wednesday, via Tiruavu, and loads for Wellington and ' Wanganui. The Ripa has been held up at Wanganui by heavy- weather, and is expected here or. Tuesday, via Wellington. She is to sail the same day for Dunedin and Oamaru. Tho Breeze should be here on Tuesday from Timaru. . She loads for Wellington and Wanganui. The Corinna is now due to-morrow from Timaru, and loads on Monday for Nelson and New Plymouth. She sails via Wellington. The Wairau is timed to load here on Monday for Blenheim. The Parera is to load on Monday for Waikokopu, Gisborne, Tologa Bay, and Toiomaru Bay. The Federal steamer Norfolk is to sail to-day for Dunedin and Australian ports to complete discharge of her Liverpool cargo. The Hertford is due this morning from Timaru to continue Homeward loading. The Ngakuta ehould be here on Tuesday from Auckland, via Wellington. She is to sail the same day for » West Coast port The Kawatiri is timed to sail at noon today for Newcastle. The Kaitangata is due at Melbourne on Tuesday next to commence discharge of timber from the West Coast. She loads there and at Hobart for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Auckland. The Government steamer Tutanekai is expected to return to Wellington this morning' from_ her work in connexion with Cook Strait lights. The vessel is to leave there again towards the end of next week on an inspection trip of southern lights. ■ The Port Melbourne is expected to leava Auckland on Tuesday for Lyttelton and New Plymouth to complete discharge of her cargo, from London. The F.S.N. Company's ateamer Ruapehu arrived at Auckland on Thursday afternoon from Liverpool. She should ba at Wellington on June 16th, and complete discharge at Lyttelton and Dunedin. The New Zealand Shipping Company is in receipt of cable advice thai the Sent, which left Wellington on May 2nd, arrived , at London on Tuesday. „
To "continue discharge of her cargo from Montreal, tbo Canadian Government Line steamer Canadian Skirmißlier arrived at Wellington yesterday from Auckland. An ondieavonr will be. made to dispatch the vessel from Wellington to-day for the south. The A. and A. Lino steamer ICcelung arrived at Auckland on Wednesday evening with cargo from. New York and Newport News. After discharging part cargo at Auckland' the vessel will proceed to "Wellington, where alio is due about Monday next.
The C. and D. liner Port Victor arrived at Wellington yesterday from Lyttelton to continue loading for New, York, Boston, and London. She is to leave Wellington to-mor-row for Napier, WaikokOpu, Gisborne, and Auckland to complete her cargo. The departure of the C. and D. liner Port Campbell from Wellington for London was delayed by tho rain on Thursday morning, but she sailed in. the afternoon. The following booked passages by the ship:—Mioses Woodhouse, MoGregor, Mesdamesi McArthur, Perry, Tennent, Johnson and child, Dr. Irene Woodhouse, Messrs Perry, McArthur, and Wiggins. Dr. Tennent will b© ship's surgeon for the voyage. The attention of navigators is called "by the Marine Department to lighting and flag systems to be established at the find southern entrances to the lifting bridgespan passage of the recently constructed bridge wliich crosses the Northern Wairoa river at about three-quarters of a mile above Dargaville, and which will come into operation during June, 1925, after the lifting bridge-spun has been completed.

Suckling. has succeeded ■Mr It. Ingram as second mate of tho Kainlai, The post of chief engineer on the Rakanoa is now occupied) by 1 Mr L. ,T. Brosnahart, vice Mr L. C. Davies, and Mr E. M. Deiiby has been engaged as second engineer Of the Vessel. Mr J". W. Walsho has replaced Mr T. Bevan as second mate of the Rakanoat Mr S. B. Ward is now third mate of the Kairanga.

The stern half turned completely round, exposing the broken gap to the full fury of the witfes. This morning the bulkhead between No. 3 nnd 4 holds give way, and thousands of. tins, casts and hajrielß. poured out. Tho wreckage litters the coast ,f6r miles.
